Cleaning: Have you forgotten any of these places

There are many places in your home that you don’t think about cleaning. They’re not hidden in the sense of being tucked away in a hard-to-access space. They’re right there, staring at you, and you pass by them every single day. These are the spots where dust bunnies can thrive, allergens can build and more.

Be sure not to miss them next time to ensure maximum home health.

Cabinets and Drawers

Cabinets and drawers are often overlooked when it comes to cleaning, but they need to be cleaned just as often as the rest of your house. You can start by pulling out all of the contents and wiping them down with a damp cloth or sponge. If there is any food left behind, use a little bit of dish soap to remove it. Then wipe down the inside of the cabinet or drawer with a clean cloth dipped in warm water. Finally, dry everything off with another clean cloth or towel.

Baseboards

Baseboards are also overlooked when it comes to cleaning because they’re hidden away from sight most of the time. However, they tend to build up dust over time if they’re not cleaned regularly and this can lead to allergies if you breathe in too much dust every day. To clean baseboards, use an old toothbrush or rag and some water mixed with vinegar or lemon juice (a teaspoon per cup) as this will kill off any germs on them without damaging them as bleach would.

The Back of Your Refrigerator

Get a soft cloth and wipe down the back of your refrigerator. You’ll be surprised at how much dust accumulates there over time. Make sure to remove all food from shelves before cleaning as well as any containers or items stored on top of it (since they can easily fall off).

Your Toilet Brush Holder

This is another area that people often forget about when cleaning their bathrooms! Remove anything from inside the brush holder and clean with warm water and soap or vinegar.

The Back Of The Toilet

A toilet is a place where germs can build up if not cleaned regularly. The back of your toilet often gets neglected, but it needs to be cleaned just as much as the rest of your bathroom.

The Shower Curtain Rod

Your shower curtain rod is another area that is often overlooked when it comes to cleaning. This can lead to mold and mildew buildup if you don’t clean it regularly. Simply remove the hooks that hold your shower curtain rod in place and clean with warm, soapy water.
