What happens when I don’t pay my rent on time?

Rent is due on the 1st and late as of the 4th of the month. The initial late fee is $50 and then $5 a day until rent is paid in full.  We do not accept partial payments. A late notice is delivered on the 4th of the month explaining they are late and late fees are accruing. It asks that they reach out to the office regarding their rental payment. If special payment arrangements are needed, we ask that the resident speaks to us about it.

Is South Pointe Apartments and Homes income-based?

We are not income-based but we do have an income requirement. We require that the pre-tax household income be at least 3 times the monthly rent.

Can I pay rent online?

Yes, we have a convenient resident portal that is accessible through our website. Just choose resident corner. If they need assistance with the portal, they can reach out to us at the office.

Are the amenities open 24/7?
  • Pool is open 6 a.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Fitness is 24/7 with keypad access.
  • Car wash is 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Garden is 24/7.
  • Bark Park is dawn until dusk.
What is my security deposit for?

The security deposit is retained to ensure a resident will make payments and follow the lease agreement with the care of the property. When a resident moves out the security deposit is refundable based on the final inspection of the rental property.

How do I get my security deposit back?

A 30-day notice is required when moving out. Once you move out, the management team conducts a final inspection of your rental home/apt. Based on the inspection findings the deposit is refunded or posted against charges due. The charges could be a past due balance, cleaning charges or damage charges.

Are any utilities already included?

South Pointe includes cable television, trash, and pest control services with our apartments. We include cable television, lawn service, irrigation and pest control services with our rental homes.

Can I have pets?

We are a pet-friendly community. We allow a maximum of 2 pets, cats and dogs 12 months or older. There are some dog breed restrictions that are listed on our website. The initial pet fee is $400 for 1 pet or $500 for 2. We also have a monthly pet rent of $15 per pet.

Can I make interior updates? (painting, mounting shelves, etc.)

We ask that you speak with the management team in the community office before making any changes to the rental property. We want you to nest and enjoy your home with us and will do what we can to meet your requests.

What repairs am I responsible for if any are needed?

If something in your rental home or apartment is in need of repair we ask that you contact the community office for assistance.  We are here to assist your service needs.

My boyfriend and I applied for a South Pointe home in the Summer of 2020. Turns out, someone applied for the same house about 30 minutes ahead of us! Sarah and the office staff were very helpful, and processed our application and put it down on the next available house. Me and my boyfriend LOVE the house we live in. We have lived here since August, and have not had a single issue. The houses and neighborhood are both really quiet and kept so clean! I love not having to cut my own grass! They are also pet friendly (which is hard to find). They even plan fun and safe events for neighbors to come together (while practicing social distancing), and enjoy the neighborhood. I can’t wait for it to warm back up so we can enjoy the pool and other great things offered while living here. We plan to stay here for quite some time!
